Walking to Flow

As we flow with what is most important to us and with what we are desiring to experience more of, it is a great start to transforming the way you feel, internally, and also the way you look by simply just starting.

In the coming days ahead I will share, with those who chose to be placed on our Soul-Fit list, the one month calendar I compiled for those who are ready to begin/ begin again.

The pace will be slow and steady.

If you are desiring change then it will be a fun and beautiful incremental transition for you.

Walking at least 22 minutes a day can transform your life tremendously, meditating will increase your mental focus and clarity, and assist in alleviating stress. Slow walks in the park, walking outside on the track, a walk through the halls at work, or walking on the treadmill will do the trick, so long as you move your body.

Every little bit helps so don’t worry if more than 20 minutes is not “do-able”.

The fact that you are walking, more than you normally would, is a welcomed start.

You’ll begin to feel the difference as you continue.

I would recommend getting a fit tracker or download an app to your phone that will allow you to track your steps. This is a great motivation tool and will encourage you as you incorporate your walking routines.

It will also be a reminder for you to engage in your daily walk.

I will mention here that some days it will be a nuisance when you don’t feel like doing anything. Acknowledge how you are feeling and begin to engage with yourself as to why you don’t feel like walking.

For those who are a Soul-Fit member look at your calendar and see what is scheduled for the day. If walking is on the calendar then walk anyway.

For EVERYTHING!!

I have been creating my own rose water for about a year and a half now and my skin knows when I am out.

Here are my personal directions if you desire to cultivate your own:

Gather as many roses as you desire (preferably from your personal garden but your local floral spot will do).

Pull off the petals or the petal bushels and place them in a pot of water (I fill the pot with enough water that the roses can boil but not too much to where the water will spill over).

Place your petals in the pot of water and bring the water to a boil.

Once your water is boiling remove the pot from the stove and sit on the side so that the roses can steep.

You want to steep the roses until the petals no longer hold the initial color.

Remove the colorless petals from the water and place your rose water into a glass jar or jug.

I like to dilute my rose water with spring water because when the water is potent it can spoil if not used in time.

I also keep my rose water in the refrigerator to prevent it from spoiling.

The rose water I intend to use is transferred from the glass jar into a spray bottle or applicator bottle.

And there ya go!!

Rose Water!!

Yes, you can drink rose water but I would not recommend it if you are unaware if there were pesticides used in growing the flowers. Also rose water tends to stain so be mindful where you spray it.

It is also great for libations and offerings

Soul-Fit by JahdirÄ“…

Is a community for ladies who are beginning, beginning again, intermediates, or experts. Those who desire to intergrate their three vital aspects, mind, body, and soul.

For those ladies desiring to begin their journey to wholeness, or those who have already began by honing in on the body aspect of the self, and desire to open up to wholeness through fitness training, yoga, yoni eggs, yoni steams, personal Moontime (menstruation) balance and flow, as well as meditation tools and techniques, to include a community of support and love, then you are in the right space.

Some questions to consider as you continue reading (understanding nothing is by chance and you were guided here for a reason):

Do you forgive easily?

Are you currently engaged in an ongoing fitness, wellness, and or routine to connect you to your body?

Do you love your menstrual flow?

Have you obtained all of the things you desire?

If the answer to any one of these questions is “No” then you are in the right space.

More questions to consider:

Do you feel as if “something” is missing or there is “more” but you are unable to decipher what it is?

Are you often stressed?

Are others to blame for the things that go wrong in your life?

Do you think people are stupid?

Do you think women are impossible to get along with?

Are other people constantly draining my energy?

If the answer to any of these questions are “yes” then, again, you are in the right space.

When your mental body comes into agreement with the desires of your soul, the physical body responds and engages with the world around you to create the world you desire.

Stress and tension arise in the physical body when the mental body fails to surrender to the desires of the soul.

The mental body may create stories around why this thing or that thing “cannot” happen, because it has either not experienced that which the soul desires, believes it isn’t capable or deserving of the goal, or there is an internal moral conflict; the body then suffers.

Because physical ailments get our attention, we respond to the aches and pains or the shape changes in the body, when we can feel and or see something is wrong or different.

A reactive response.

But if we engage with the stress energy that is moving within the body, and exert it through physical activity, then the body doesn’t process the stress into an ailment or into a pocket (where benign tumors form), it begins to burn that energy and activates the body to relieve the stress.

This doesn’t mean the mental body and the soul doesn’t have to get on one accord. It just means we’ve created an opportunity to address the worries of the mind, because we feel good in the body, and in engaging those things we can align the mind, body, and soul in order to create the reality we want or that which we desire to see and engage in.

This is where transformations begin…

Welcome!
